Devouring Autumn’s Grapes in a Fantastically New Way

How many ways can you eat a grape? How many ways do you want to eat a grape? I usually like my grapes straight-up, no fluff or fussiness. Not in a salad with chicken and mayonnaise, for the softness of the grape faints against the chicken and white goop. Not in a fruit tart, for the puckeriness of the grape bickers with the pastry cream. For me, a grape has to fulfill its destiny of being grape-like, and in doing so it rarely agrees with many other things. It’s a solo fruit, a singleton.

That’s why I like this new Way of Grape as created by practitioners of Modernist Cuisine. It makes a grape more grapey than ever before.
